The carbon mineralization team, led by Professors Afifi and Hussein Hoteit, visited the active Carbfix projects in Iceland, hosted by Professor Sigurdur Gislason of the University of Iceland and Professor Eric Oelkers.  The KAUST visitors included Abdirizak Ali Omar, Mouadh Addassi, Jakub Fedorik, Maria Suarez, Miliausha Petrova, and Antoine Delaunay.
